Xbox One gamers have been asking for a way to exit the game for years now. Microsoft has been hesitant to provide a solution, but with the release of Xbox Game Pass, it seems that they may finally be willing to listen. Xbox Game Pass is an add-on to the Xbox One that allows users to purchase games and DLC through the console’s online store. It was announced by Microsoft at E3 2019, and is currently available in North America and Europe. If you’re not already subscribed, it’s free to sign up at xbox.com/gamepass. Once you’ve added your account, you can find the “Exit” button on your main menu. If you press this button, your game will end and you’ll be taken back to your home screen. If you’re using a controller, pressing “Escape” will also take you out of your current game or app. If all of this sounds like too much work, don’t worry! There are plenty of ways to exit Xbox Game Pass without having to go through theExit button: by quitting your current game or app; by opening up Xbox Live; or by using one of the many gaming tools that come with Xbox Game Pass such as leaderboards and achievements tracking.
