If you’re like most people, you probably have a TV in your home. But if you’re like most people, you also probably have an iPhone. And if you’re like most people, you probably don’t know how to control that TV with an iPhone. That’s because the TV remote control is a very different animal on an iPhone than it is on a traditional television. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select the General tab.
  2. Under “TV Remote,” select “iPhone.”
  3. Type in “TV” and press return.
  4. The TV will now be controlled by your iPhone!
