If you’re like most people, you probably have a few devices scattered around your home - a phone, a tablet, a laptop - each with its own set of cords and ports. It can be frustrating trying to figure out how to connect one device to another. That’s where Philips comes in. Philips has been making TVs for over 50 years, and they know a thing or two about how to make them easy to use. Their TVs come with built-in connections for everything from cable boxes to streaming devices like Roku and Amazon Fire TV. So if you have an iPhone, there’s a good chance that Philips has already got it connected - and vice versa. Here’s how it works:
- Open the Philips TV app on your iPhone.
- Tap the “Settings” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Under “General,” tap “Network.”
- In the “Network” section, find your iPhone’s name under “Devices.” If it’s not listed, tap “Add Device.” You’ll need your Apple ID and password to do this. Once you’ve entered those details, your iPhone should show up under “Devices” in the Network section of the Philips TV app. (If it doesn’t show up right away, try restarting your Philips TV and/or iPhone.)
- Underneath “Settings” on your Philips TV screen, find the option called “Connections.” Tap it.
- On the next screen, you’ll see an option called “TV Connections.” Tap that button.
- On the next screen, you’ll see an option called “iPhone Connections.” Tap that button.
